Creating Social Value Through Blockchain Technology

Our latest collaboration with Joyful Companionship Social Welfare Foundation (Korea) has allied our belief in creating value for everyone.

On 3 September, our Chief Business Development Officer, Mr Jung Hee-chul, inked an agreement with Chairman of Joyful Companionship Foundation, Mr Eom Ki-hyung and CEO of HopePay, Mr Heo Jin-seok to promote social assistance on a global scale through a digitalised framework.

Initial phase of this socially impactful collaboration will include developing a medical welfare system on blockchain which can benefit both Koreans and foreigners. With the expertise of all 3 organisations, we foresee a digitalised medical welfare infrastructure that will push beyond the borders, bringing value to more people worldwide.  

About Joyful Companionship Social Welfare Foundation

Joyful Companionship Social Welfare Foundation was established based on the Incheon Metropolitan City Council of Sharing and Joy, an NGO celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Due to increasing requests for aid from the medically vulnerable, a new arm had to be set up to handle these demands. As such, in August 2024, Joyful Companionship Social Welfare Foundation was established to exclusively handle medical expense support and hospital accompanying volunteer services.
